After a colourful spell as a self-employed multimedia producer, I joined B&V just in time for the Christmas Party in 2007. My role in the company has quickly grown from web developer to encompass a wider range of media. I have a keen interest in video production for broadcast and web use. It's great to see more and more of our clients adopt this technology for their web sites.

Outside of work, I am a busy musician both on the stage and in the studio. I also enjoy taking the role of record producer and studio engineer, as well as providing training for bands in the areas of musicianship, band dynamics and live show production. I am considered by friends to be someone with many fingers in many pies...
My defence? I like pies.

Hi, I’ve been with B&V since October ’08 and in the main, I deal with paid search, SEO and copywriting for the web. I’ve also got experience in recording and editing (and presenting) video and audio to post online. Before joining the wise ‘old’ owls my career took me through sales and event management with an MA in Multi-Media Journalism sandwiched in between.

Away from the office I have two loves – sport and music. I play football and tennis and enjoy watching the cricket as well. I go to a lot of gigs and usually find time for a couple of festivals in the summer, Glastonbury and Bestival most often. I’ve also been struggling to play Guitar for a couple of years now, not quite good enough to grace the Pyramid stage yet!

Having been with B&V since '06, I guess I'm now one of the 'older' wise owls. I've been working in design & marketing for about 16 years now, having studied Graphic Design in Cornwall and then moving to London after passing my HND (in between the beach parties and surfing - badly!). My career has since taken me through design for print, corporate identity, exhibition design, packaging and food & drink label design and, more recently, designing web sites alongside our other owls. I've also been involved in event management and have some experience of voice-over work.

Outside of work, I have a 'significant other' and 2 young daughters (who no doubt think I'm anything BUT a wise owl!!) and we enjoy taking camping trips to the coast where I demonstrate just how bad I am at surfing (gonna try kite boarding this year)! I also have a passion for 60s & 70s design and architecture and just love rooting around to find that special bit of furniture for our original 60s house.

I established B&V Digital as a division of B&V Creative to focus on online marketing. The pace of change in our industry is sometimes incredible, and just as B&V Creative has evolved into a full service marketing agency over the past 26 years of business, B&V Digital will be at the forefront of our ever increasing online services.

Running any company takes up a lot of time and I don't seem to spend much of that away from the office...! On the odd occasion I do, weekends away in the West Country are a popular choice. Walking the dog, a good pub and decent restaurants are usually pretty high on the agenda.
